UNS Holdings, Inc. staff members are very committed to providing you seamless, reliable, quality UseNet services. If you experience any unusual difficulties while using UseNetServer.Com, please feel free to contact our tech support to answer all your questions. We provide a Reverse Traceroute Utility here which you may find useful.
We have a customer interface that allow users to select different routes to take from our network. The page will require you to login with your UseNetServer username and password.
This is intended to be a tool for users who are getting slower than expected speeds. If you are already maxing out your internet connection please do not make arbitrary route changes. Please read the disclaimer at the bottom of the routing page before selecting a new route.

Just as a reminder, we have switched over to our new servers. The following has changed from the old servers:
* User names are now case sensitive.
* You MUST NOT include a realm in your login, like @usenetserver.com
* There is only one non-secure server address, news.usenetserver.com. All other host names point to this address. Using multiple servers will cause you to have too many connections. secure.usenetserver.com remains the only address for SSL traffic. If you connect to secure and news at the same time, you will get too many connection errors.
* Passwords are limited to 14 characters or less. If your password is longer, you will need to login to the website and change it.
* Article numbers have changed. If you download headers, you will need to flush/reset your cache and re-download your headers. Failure to do so may cause groups to show as incomplete or keep new articles hidden.

We will be beginning the migration to the new UseNetServer Farm today! Below is a schedule of our planned DNS changes.
We are advising users to go ahead and move to the new service today. We strongly urge you to do this so we can address support concerns in a timely manner as support volume may be high during DNS changes.
At this time customers using the secure connections will need to wait until 9/29/08 when the DNS is changed for the new secure service.
New Service Configuration:
Hostname: news.usenetserver.com Ports: 119, 23, 80, 3128, 7000, 8000, 9000
!!!IMPORTANT SERVICE NOTES!!!
- Usernames no longer require realm additions (IE. bob -NOT- bob@usenetserver.com OR bob@hsplus.usenetserver.com) - Usernames and Passwords are now case sensitive - Article numbers HAVE been changed. Client configuration and reset information can be found for most common readers at: http://mon.usenetserver.com/readersetup.html
